From the Founder
The guide we wish we had when we started.
When we started Birdie Express, we didn't have $100,000 to drop on a high-end setup. We focused on finding the most affordable, portable gear that let us launch without huge financial risk.
Then we tested everything — at events, in office spaces, at local venues, with paying customers. We learned what works, what doesn't, and what people will actually pay for. The School and Community exist so you don't have to learn it the hard way like we did.
— Carlton, Birdie Express co-founder

Common questions
Do I need to know golf to run this business?
It helps, but it's not required. Most customers won't be scratch golfers — they want to have fun. What you need is comfort with the equipment and software, which the playbook and School walk you through.
How long until I'm running paid events?
If you move quickly, you can run your first paid event 4–6 weeks after buying equipment. That includes setting up your LLC, learning the gear, running mock events, and pitching your first venue.
What's the difference between the Playbook and the Sim Business School?
The Playbook is a one-time guide — equipment lists, templates, and agreements you read once and use forever. The Sim Business School is ongoing — a self-paced course plus a private community of operators where you can ask questions, share what's working, and get support as your business grows.
What do I get with the Network membership?
A listing on our public directory (we'll build your page if you don't have a site, or link to yours if you do), access to the private operator community, and inbound leads as we grow traffic to the network. It's $29/month, no contracts, cancel anytime.
Why not just buy any sim setup off Amazon?
We did, at first — and bought the wrong gear twice. The shopping list in the playbook is what we landed on after months of testing and real events. The full setup we sell is the exact same one we run ourselves.
